DESCRIPTIO project uses the formula installation/object/video as a concept linked with the descriptive aspects of the mechanisms behind producing and understanding an artistic object.
DESCRIPTIO focuses on the details resulting from placing an object in an optimum environment made in order to reveal the less visible aspects. Whether it brings forth semitransparent objects, a woodcut plate, a printed radiant object or a description with the help of the sound of an interval, the project was thought as a site specific intervention having each element autonomous as well as integrated to a unifying principle.
I am interested in describing through simple means a phenomenon that is more physical/scientific than affective, in which the elements helping to describe objects, belong to the subtle matter: light, sound, image immateriality through projection and transfer.
The engraved object becomes the support of an image later taken over and transferred on a different support. Here the image is transferred on a digital support through scanning in order to reveal descriptive aspects only visible through the magnifying glass effect.

Proiectul DESCRIPTIO mizeaza pe formula instalatie/obiect/video, ca un concept legat de latura descriptiva a mecanismelor care stau la baza producerii si intelegerii unui obiect artistic.
DESCRIPTIO este o privire in amanunt a detaliilor rezultatelor care decurg din plasarea unui obiect intr-un mediu optim creat pentru a-i pune in valoare aspectele mai putin vizibile a la prima. Fie ca este vorba despre obiecte semitransparente, o placa de xilogravura, un obiect luminos imprimat sau o descriere cu ajutorul sunetului a unui interval, proiectul a fost gandit ca o interventie site specific in care fiecare element este in acelasi timp autonom cat si integrat unui principiu unitar.
Ma intereseaza descrierea prin mijloace simple a unui fenomen mai mult fizic/stiintific decat afectiv in care elementele care ajuta la descrierea obiectelor apartin materiei subtile: lumina, unda sonora, imaterialitatea imaginii prin proiectie si transfer.
Obiectul gravat este suportul unei imagini ulterior preluata si transferata pe un alt suport, aici imaginea este trecuta pe suport digital prin scanare pentru a pune in evidenta aspectele descriptive vizibile doar prin efectul de lupa.
